This policy describes how The Social Scheduler handles information when you use our content creation, scheduling, and publishing services.
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, and to communicate with you.
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this privacy policy.
We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access.
The Social Scheduler uses YouTube API Services. When you choose to connect YouTube, Google asks you to authorize access to your channel. We do not receive your Google password. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We access your channel ID and name to identify the connected channel, and receive authorization tokens so The Social Scheduler can upload videos you choose to publish now or schedule for later. We send YouTube the selected video, title, description, visibility, audience, and altered-content settings. We receive the uploaded video ID and processing or error status so we can report the publishing result and avoid duplicate uploads.
Connection information, authorization tokens, and upload records are stored in The Social Scheduler's backend. Tokens and upload-session credentials are restricted to backend services. Channel names and publishing results are available to authorized members of your workspace. Our hosting and database service providers process this information to operate The Social Scheduler; videos and publishing settings are sent to Google/YouTube at your direction. The visibility you select controls who can view the resulting video on YouTube.
Google and YouTube data is used to provide these connection and publishing features. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models. The Social Scheduler's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
A workspace administrator can disconnect YouTube from Platforms in The Social Scheduler. Disconnecting revokes the Google authorization and removes the stored channel connection and authorization tokens. You can also revoke The Social Scheduler's access through your Google Account permissions.
Disconnecting does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube; manage those videos in YouTube Studio. Drafts, uploaded source media, and publishing records remain in The Social Scheduler until deleted, including upload receipts used to prevent duplicate publishing. To request deletion of retained Google/YouTube data or other account information, contact upcodestudios@gmail.com and identify the relevant account and workspace. We may need to verify that you are authorized to make the request. Information required for legal obligations or security may be retained where applicable.
The Social Scheduler uses browser storage and session information to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and complete account connections. For questions about this policy or your data, email upcodestudios@gmail.com.
